Scope of application 

This privacy policy informs users about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider peaknetworks Hosting GmbH and peaknetworks Schweiz GmbH of this website (hereinafter "Offer"). The legal basis for data protection can be found in the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR")

Access data and server log files

This offer collects data about each access to the offer (so-called server log files). The access data includes:
Name of the accessed website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider. The provider uses the log data only for statistical analysis for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to subsequently check the log data if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on concrete indications. In the log files, IP addresses are anonymized and thus contribute to the protection of personal data. The legal basis for the temporary storage of the log data is Art. 6 para. 1 DSGVO.

Duration of data storage

We store your personal data only as long as necessary to achieve the purpose of their collection and as permitted by law. Log files are deleted after 30 days, 7 days later the data of these log files are also deleted in the data backups.

Handling personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or telephone number. Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by the provider if this is legally permitted or the users consent to the data collection.

Contact

When contacting the provider (for example, via contact form or email), the user's information is stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the event that follow-up questions arise. We delete the data accruing in this context after the storage is no longer necessary.

Revocation, changes, corrections and updates

The user has the right, upon request and free of charge, to receive information about the personal data that has been stored about him.

In addition, the user has the right to correct incorrect data, block and delete his personal data, object to processing, provided that this does not conflict with any legal obligation to retain data. The user also has the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of his personal data by us.
